Oradea is one of the most welcoming cities in Romania with great people, good food, lots of parks, museums and baroques style buildings. You would be surprised to see how fast this city developed from a "cruel communism up until 1989" to a "liberal democracy" in present time.
It is worth visiting, believe me!
I agree! It's a beautiful city and the people are warm and quite friendly. I especially love the architecture of the city.
